About Spiral Ceramics
Spiral Ceramics is owned and operated by Amber, a nature, art, gardening and writing enthusiast and mother of two big kids. They are all deemed worthy to serve a grumpy cat named Pip.
Amber is dedicated to making sustainable and ethically handmade products with a view to celebrating the Australian native environment. All of the vessels produced at Spiral Ceramics are hand-thrown on the potter's wheel, and most items are hand-painted and carved using the sgraffito technique. Mugs and cups, bowls, plant pots, paint palettes and pendants are available in the Spiral Ceramics online shop, which updates once a month. Spiral Ceramics sells online in Australia and internationally, and also wholesales to local gift shops and nurseries. We use sustainable packaging.

Studio cat, Pip
Pip the champagne ginger is living proof that you can be cute and serious at the same time, especially when guarding the studio door while keeping his bottom warm on an old wood-chopping block.
Yes, he's as soft as he looks, especially that fluffy bit on his front. He's not that keen on being patted, though, which can be difficult for his humans.
