Returns Policy
Spiral Ceramics offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for items received that are deemed unsuitable for your intended purpose. The item will be fully refunded if returned unused and undamaged in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Responsibility for payment of shipping under this 30-day money-back guarantee rests with the customer. Once returned under these conditions, a refund of money paid for the item will be processed via the original payment option.
Please note that sale items cannot be refunded under the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Every product made at Spiral Ceramics retains the marks of the human maker, and as such, no one item sold from this studio is 'perfect'. The ceramics making process is long, and at any stage imperfections may be introduced into the piece. Two mugs that look similar by size, colour or design might have slightly different diameter rims, or differently shaped handles, or a spot of paint in a place you didn't expect. A bowl might have a slightly wonky rim that you would never see on a mass-produced piece. This is the charm of handmade, and we at Spiral Ceramics embrace the beauty of the mark of the human hand and the rugged sweetness of the handmade.
All items are carefully checked for breaks or cracks at time of shipping. Any items that arrive broken or cracked by way of shipping will be fully refunded through the following process: Please send photos and description of the damage to spiralceramics@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will then assess whether a full refund or an exchange will be made on a case-by-case basis. Australia Post will also be notified and an application for a refund of shipping will be made. Please note that the responsibility for the decision as to whether a refund of shipping costs will be made rests with Australia Post; as such, this is not in the hands of Spiral Ceramics. We will, however, make sufficient application so as the case can be accurately assessed by Australia Post.
Usage Policy
For everyday use, our pieces are durable and can be put in a dishwasher (top shelf) or a microwave.
Please take care when handling your Spiral Ceramics piece. If treated with care, our pieces should last many years, even generations.
